
"The countries participating in the project have agreed that we will intensify our efforts to complete the project soon and, consequently, to increase its capacity. We also agreed to simplify the procedures, which will facilitate the intensification of cargo flows on this highway and easy movement, "- said Natia Turnava.
According to the Ministry, it was noted at the Ministerial noted that the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway is an integral part of the Middle Corridor, which facilitates transit freight between Asia and Europe. In addition, it was stressed that all of the three countries participating in the project will do their best to reach the intended capacity of the railway line.
At the Ministerial, Natia Turnava together with the heads of the Turkish and Azerbaijani delegations signed a joint protocol on the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway.
