“The estimated real Gross Domestic Product (GDP) growth rate amounted to 9.5 percent for February 2024 compared to previous year and the average real GDP growth for January-February 2024 equaled 7.7 percent,” the Georgian National Statistics Service (GeoStat) reported.

In February 2024, compared to the same period of the previous year, the estimated real growth in following activities contributed significantly: Manufacturing, Construction, Professional scientific and technical activities, Information and communication and Transportation and storage.

Declines were observed in Energy, Mining and quarrying activities.
