A session of the parliamentary majority was held at the Georgian Dream office, where members discussed both political issues and the agenda for this week’s plenary sessions.

The meeting also addressed topics raised earlier at the parliamentary bureau. It was decided that committee discussions would soon begin on several new legislative initiatives, including proposed amendments to the Local Self-Government Code and the Law on Higher Education.

Special emphasis was placed on the draft national budget. Members of the majority agreed that Parliament will consider the revised version of the Draft Law on the 2026 State Budget of Georgia during Wednesday’s plenary session.
