The film is the first full-length project of Giorgi Parkosadze, which is a Georgian-Greek co-production; the project is implemented by the video production and photography company Attic Production from the Georgian side, and Filmografik DocRepublic - from the Greek side.

The film was created with the support (66.52% of funding) of the National Film Center.

"Requiem to Hot Days of Summer" touches upon two topics: the primordial feeling of attachment between people and the eternal loneliness of a person.
