Together with the head of the National Tourism Administration, Maia Omiadze, Mariam Kvrivishvili is participating in the 118th session of the Executive Council of the United Nations World Tourism Organization. Tourism ministries, administrations and organizations of more than 40 countries were presented at the session of the Executive Council. 
The 118th session was opened by Zurab Pololikashvili, Secretary General of the United Nations World Tourism Organization.
The Georgian delegation participated in thematic discussions within the session. During the visit, meetings were held with tourism ministers and leaders of different countries in order to develop cooperation.
Within the framework of the session of the Executive Council of the UN World Tourism Organization "Renewed Visions of Tourism" a discussion was held on the development of innovative concepts and the use of digital technologies in the tourism sector. The participants of the meeting shared their experiences and provided ideas on how to properly communicate with professionals in the field, what type of support should be provided to tourism organizations and the sector in order to develop tourist destinations, improve communication channels and meet increased technological requirements. As part of the session, international experts talked about updating the country's tourism brand, correct positioning, adaptation and improvement of digital communications.
