
Within the working visit to Turkey, the Deputy Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia Mariam Kvrivishvili held a meeting with the representatives of Turkish airlines.
At the meeting with the Turkish Airlines and Pegasus officials, the conversation touched on the performance of air flights in the direction of Georgia during all four seasons; the parties expressed their readiness to continue operations in the direction of Batumi during the winter season with 5 frequencies per week, which will further contribute to the growth of tourist flows in Adjara region. It was mentioned that Pegasus airline is starting flights from Ankara to Georgia, and the first flight will be operated on November 2.
According to the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia, as part of the meeting, the discussion touched upon the issue of scheduling possible flights by Turkish Airlines and Pegasus airline in the direction of the Kutaisi International Airport.
