“We discussed many important issues and planned joint activities for the further development of priority directions within the framework of economic cooperation between the two countries, including tourism and the stimulation of direct flights,” - the Deputy Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia, Mariam Kvrivishvili, said after meeting with the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Finland, Nina Vaskunlahti.
According to Mariam Kvrivishvili, there is a great potential for development of investments, tourism, air traffic, innovations and other important sectors of the economy between Georgia and Finland.
The readiness of both countries to deepen and expand the areas of economic cooperation was emphasized at the meeting. Mariam Kvrivishvili briefed the Finnish delegation in detail on Georgia's business environment, economic growth trends and the reforms that had been actively maintaining Georgia's investment attractiveness for many years.
