Participants initially assembled at 14:00 at the Station Square, Avlabari, and Delisi metro stations, then traveled via metro to Akhmeteli station. From there, they marched to the U.S. Embassy, where they thanked American officials for backing the MEGOBARI Act in the U.S. House of Representatives—legislation they described as supportive of the Georgian people.
Protesters carried Georgian and U.S. flags, released colored smoke, and chanted slogans including: “Step down,” “Sanctions are on the way,” “Freedom for political prisoners,” and “Down with the regime.” Banners on display read “Freedom for prisoners of conscience!” and “MEGOBARI ACT – Friendship in Act!”
