The OSCE Parliamentary Assembly reported a meeting between the Georgian delegation and Pia Kauma, President of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly, during the 150th Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU).

In a statement posted on the X platform, it was revealed that the discussion centered on the progress made in implementing OSCE/ODIHR recommendations following Georgia's elections last year.

On the sidelines of the IPU assembly in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, President Pia Kauma held talks with Georgian Parliament Chair Shalva Papuashvili and the Head of the Georgian delegation, Nikolaz Samkharadze. The talks focused on the steps taken to address the recommendations and improve the electoral process.

The 150th Assembly of the IPU is being held in Tashkent from April 5-9, 2025.
