The sides discussed the friendship between the two countries, which is reflected in the support of Georgia's sovereignty, territorial integrity and Euro-Atlantic aspirations. The Secretary of Defense discussed the security issues in the region at a meeting with a British diplomat.

The meeting touched upon the participation of the Georgian and British troops in the international military exercises, the Ministry of Defense's cyber security cooperation, the implementation of the Substantial NATO-Georgia Package (SNGP) and the participation of Georgian servicemen in the EU peacekeeping missions.
