
Georgia has been ranked 21st in TasteAtlas’ 2025–2026 list of the world’s 100 best cuisines, highlighting the country’s rich culinary traditions and distinctive flavors.
According to TasteAtlas, Georgian cuisine is best known for iconic dishes such as khachapuri, khinkali, mtsvadi, chicken on ketz, and narchvi, among others.
Among Georgia’s neighboring countries, only Turkey ranked higher, securing 7th place on the list. Other regional countries were positioned further down the ranking, with Russia in 28th place, Azerbaijan in 67th place, and Armenia in 87th place.
TasteAtlas named Italy as the country with the best cuisine in the world for 2025–2026.
The top 20 cuisines in the global ranking are as follows: Italy, Greece, Peru, Portugal, Spain, Japan, Turkey, China, France, Indonesia, Mexico, Serbia, India, Poland, the United States, Vietnam, Croatia, Brazil, Korea, and Lebanon.
