A Georgian national team striker Budu Zivzivadze has been recognized as the standout player in the opening round of the 2024-25 Bundesliga 2 season by multiple football websites, including Sofascore and Whoscored, as well as Kicker and BBBank.

In a thrilling match, Zivzivadze played a pivotal role in Karlsruhe’s 3-2 home victory over Nuremberg.
