“The risk of possible inflow of “black money” from Russia to Georgia is excluded,” – the Deputy Prime Minister/Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia, Levan Davitashvili, said.

As the Minister stated after the governmental session, the Georgian banking system is one of the leaders in terms of transparency.

“If a person has a little knowledge in this issue, he/she can probably get very clear information that today the financial system of Georgia operates per the international standards.

In this respect, Georgia is a worthy member of the international community, where such transactions and risks are ruled out. Georgia is part of all the agreements that prevent the circulation of illicit income,” - Davitashvili stressed.
