The Georgian Health Minister Mikheil Sarjveladze and his Azerbaijani counterpart Teymur Musayev discussed partnership between the two countries and cooperation in healthcare during a meeting held as part of the ongoing 29th United Nations Climate Change Conference in Baku, Azerbaijan.
During the meeting, the ministers discussed healthcare programmes, with Sarjveladze emphasising the importance of formalising and deepening the bilateral cooperation, noting such efforts were “important for both countries”.
The meeting was also attended by Zurab Pataradze, the Georgian Ambassador to Azerbaijan.
The Ministry said Sarjveladze was on an official visit to Baku to present the Government’s vision and current healthcare and labour programmes at the Conference.
The Minister, accompanied by the Ambassador, also visited the Georgian representation at the Conference.
