The Georgian Foreign Minister Maka Botchorishvili and Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov engaged in discussions focused on the "friendly relations" and "close" strategic partnership between their respective countries. The meeting, which took place on the sidelines of the 31st session of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) Ministerial Council in Malta, underscored the importance of maintaining a dynamic exchange of high-level visits, a cornerstone of their successful bilateral cooperation, as highlighted by the foreign ministries of both nations.
The discussions also addressed the ongoing developments within the South Caucasus region, with both ministers emphasizing the critical need to foster peace and stability. In this context, they underscored the importance of Georgia and Azerbaijan's involvement in strategic projects that contribute to regional security and cooperation.
Minister Botchorishvili expressed her gratitude to Minister Bayramov for Azerbaijan’s consistent and unwavering support for Georgia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, reflecting the strong diplomatic and strategic ties between the two countries.
