The Georgian application - Biliki guide – provides a tour of eight countries - Georgia, Poland, Turkey, Azerbaijan, Estonia, Italy, Bulgaria and Israel, which means that the Georgian startup is already present in seven countries except for Georgia.
As the co-founder of Biliki guide Tornike Tsiramua said, the start-up's entry into international markets is thanks to the new functionality of the application, with the help of which any person can create a tourist route, book it on Biliki and sell it.
According to Tornike Tsiramua, Poland was the only country, which they worked on purposefully and carried out small marketing activities, and they plan to do this in the other countries after attracting additional investments.
"The route is already presented in 8 countries, in total. The hikers of this country have posted their tours that means we have entered these countries. It is good that the new functionality of the application, which involves selling and buying tours, has no geographical and technological limitations. Now we are also working on raising additional investment; we have determined a total of $300,000, which will be spent on improving the application and marketing activities in the countries," - the founder of Biliki said.
Tornike Tsiramua also appreciates the current season. According to him, the number of Biliki customers has increased significantly.
"Our tours are being sold quite actively in Georgia - more transactions mean more income. As for the customers, if until now their number included 1200 people every month, now it ranges from 1800-2000. In addition, it is also worth noting that we have new partner companies," - Tornike Tsiramua noted.
