
On the sidelines of the 80th session of the UN General Assembly, Georgian Foreign Minister Maka Bochorishvili met with her Slovak counterpart, Juraj Blanár, to discuss deepening cooperation between the two nations.
According to a statement from Georgia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the ministers reviewed bilateral and multilateral collaboration, with a focus on strengthening political dialogue and expanding trade and economic ties.
The discussion also addressed regional security dynamics, with particular emphasis on the situation in Georgia’s Russian-occupied territories. Minister Bochorishvili outlined Georgia’s current foreign policy priorities, including its path toward European and Euro-Atlantic integration.
She also expressed gratitude to Minister Blanár for Slovakia’s consistent support for Georgia’s sovereignty, territorial integrity, and Euro-Atlantic aspirations.
