
Georgian Minister of Foreign Affairs Maka Botchorishvili met with her Serbian counterpart, Marko Đurić, at the International Institute for Strategic and Technological Initiatives to discuss key issues in Georgian-Serbian relations and ways to further deepen bilateral cooperation.
According to the Georgian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the meeting focused on expanding political and economic dialogue between the two countries. Particular attention was given to prospects for signing a free trade agreement, implementing joint investment projects, and exchanging experience in these areas.
The ministers reaffirmed their firm mutual support for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of both Georgia and Serbia within their internationally recognized borders. They also discussed the challenges both countries face on the path toward European integration and emphasized the importance of sustained efforts in this direction.
Minister Botchorishvili is visiting Serbia as part of the official delegation accompanying Georgian President Mikheil Kavelashvili.
