The Georgian and Azerbaijani Parliaments signed a Memorandum of Understanding on Monday.

According to the Parliament’s press office, the agreement aims to enhance inter-parliamentary cooperation based on the spirit of strategic partnership. The parties will work to establish regular contacts between commissions and committees and facilitate exchanges between parliamentary delegations to study each other's parliamentary activities and share experiences.

The Memorandum was signed by the Chairman of the Georgian Parliament, Shalva Papuashvili, and the Speaker of the Milli Majlis, Sahiba Gafarova.
