Aleksandre Maisuradze, Ambassador and Charge d'Affaires to the Permanent Representation of Georgia to the OSCE and other International Organizations in Vienna, participated in a special meeting of the OSCE Permanent Council.
According to the Georgian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Maisuradze addressed the involvement and observation of OSCE institutions in the Georgian parliamentary elections.
He highlighted that, on December 20, 2024, the Georgian government provided a detailed response to inquiries from 38 member states concerning developments in Georgia, ongoing political processes, and protests. He expressed hope that OSCE institutions would offer an objective assessment of the situation.
"Georgia remains committed to making a constructive contribution to the work of the OSCE in upholding international law, peace, security, and human rights," Maisuradze stated.
