
Tamar Taliashvili, Georgia’s Ambassador to the United States, met with Senator Markwayne Mullin of Oklahoma, who serves on the U.S. Senate Appropriations, Armed Services, Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions (HELP), and Indian Affairs Committees.
According to the Georgian Embassy, the meeting focused on ways to strengthen Georgian-American relations.
During the discussion, Ambassador Taliashvili acknowledged Senator Mullin’s personal efforts in supporting the development of bilateral ties, expressing gratitude and recognizing him as a genuine friend of Georgia.
The conversation also covered the current regional situation, recent developments, and the significance of former President Donald Trump’s peace initiatives.
Additionally, both sides exchanged views on international opportunities and cooperation moving forward.
