
Georgia’s Ambassador to Turkey, Archil Kalandia, praised the official visit of Georgian Parliament Speaker Shalva Papuashvili to Turkey, calling it “substantive and productive.”
Kalandia noted that the Georgian delegation held high-level meetings, including with the Speaker of Turkey’s Grand National Assembly and the Chair of the Foreign Affairs Committee.
“There were other important meetings as well, which I am confident will bring concrete outcomes soon,” he said, emphasizing the strong and evolving strategic partnership between Georgia and Turkey.
Kalandia added that the two countries are on track to deepen trade, economic, business, and political ties, moving the partnership to “a qualitatively new stage.”
