Georgian Airways has officially launched direct flights between Tbilisi and the Italian city of Forli, with the inaugural flight taking off from Tbilisi International Airport today.
As part of the airline’s summer schedule, the Tbilisi–Forli route will operate once a week, every Thursday. In addition, beginning April 26, Georgian Airways will introduce twice-weekly direct flights to Rome Fiumicino Airport, flying on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
With these new routes, Georgian Airways will now offer daily service to Italy, including:
-
Milan – three times a week
-
Rome – twice a week
-
Forli – once a week
Forli, located in northern Italy, is a popular medical and wellness destination, known for its thermal spa centers, rehabilitation services, and European-standard health check-ups.
To celebrate the launch of the Tbilisi–Forli service, a special event was held at Tbilisi International Airport.
Georgian Airways will also continue its summer flights to major European cities such as Paris, Nice, Vienna, Amsterdam, Berlin, and Larnaca. Notably, all European routes are scheduled during daytime hours, and standard fares include checked baggage, ensuring greater convenience for travelers.
