Georgian Airways has canceled its scheduled flights on the Tbilisi–Tel Aviv–Tbilisi route for June 30 and July 1, the airline announced on Monday.
According to the statement, the cancellations are due to the airline not receiving the necessary approval from its insurance provider to resume flights to Tel Aviv. Additionally, Georgian Airways has yet to receive security guarantees from Israeli authorities.
“The airline will share new information as soon as it becomes available,” the announcement read.
Passengers holding tickets for the affected flights are entitled to a refund or may exchange their tickets at the original place of purchase.
Georgian Airways confirmed that all other scheduled routes are operating without disruption.
