According to the Ministry, with the support of the World Bank Mission, two important projects have been presented in Georgia: the Georgian Irrigation and Land Market Development Project, which is already underway, and the Georgian Agricultural Sustainability Irrigation and Land Project is also planned.

"The sides discussed the action plans of the GILMDP and GRAIL projects. Otar Shamugia noted at the meeting that the implementation of the GILMDP project requires proper assessment of the ongoing rehabilitation works of the irrigation system and objective analysis and support of the measures to be implemented. In connection with the GRAIL project, the World Bank Mission reaffirmed its readiness to support the Government's efforts to develop integrated approaches to agriculture, irrigation and land investment for the benefit of farmers and the economy in general, including climate resilience, which will facilitate the implementation of the updated Nationally Determined Contribution (NDC) of Georgia,"- a statement issued by the Ministry reads.
