According to the Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia, Georgia will soon have more regular ferry connections on the Black Sea. As Levan Davitashvili said during his speech within Ministerial Hour in the Parliament of Georgia, the country has more work to do in terms of regular ferry traffic.
"Increasing connectivity to the Black Sea is more relevant today than before. Due to the geopolitical situation, Georgia is the most attractive and competitive place as the closest connecting zone between Europe and Asia.
The transit corridor passing through Georgia connects not only Europe and Asia, but also provides additional attractiveness to the region in terms of investment atmosphere. There is still more to do with regular ferry service between Georgia, Romania, Bulgaria, Ukraine and Turkey", said Levan Davitashvili.
