Economy Minister Mariam Kvrivishvili announced that an initial plan to optimize state-owned enterprises has been launched, following instructions from Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze.

The reform has already saved 700 million GEL through staff reductions, lower procurement costs, and more efficient spending. Kvrivishvili said the savings will be reinvested into enterprise rehabilitation and targeted development projects, with further stages of the reform underway.
