
Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Mariam Kvrivishvili will take part in the Trans-Caspian Transport Corridor and Connectivity Investment Forum, as well as a ministerial meeting of transport leaders from the European Union, Central Asia, the South Caucasus, and the Black Sea region.
Co-organised by the European Union, the forum aims to enhance cooperation with partner countries along the Trans-Caspian route and strengthen transport links between Europe and Asia under the EU’s Global Gateway initiative.
At the event, Georgia will present its vision and strategic plans for contributing to the development of the Trans-Caspian Transport Corridor and for deepening transport connectivity between the region and the European Union.
The forum and ministerial meeting will be held tomorrow in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.
As part of the programme, Kvrivishvili will join a panel discussion focused on connectivity challenges and opportunities across Central Asia, the South Caucasus, and the Black Sea region.
The event will also be attended by Jozef Síkela, European Commissioner for International Partnerships.
