Medea Janiashvili, Acting Head of the National Tourism Administration of the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia met with the Director and representatives of the Berlin International Tourism Fair within the framework of the International Tourism Fair ongoing in Madrid.

Technical issues related to the participation of the National Tourism Administration in the ITB Berlin Fair were discussed at the meeting. This year, Georgia is a partner of the Berlin Fair in the field of culture, and in 2023, Georgia will be presented as a host country at the ITB Berlin Fair in Berlin, Germany.

"In 2023, Georgia will host the ITB Berlin International Fair. This is an important event for the tourism sector and it is a big responsibility for us. Accordingly, we are actively preparing for this event. Today we had a very interesting official meeting with the organizers and discussed all the stages. It should be noted that this year Georgia will be a cultural partner at the ITB Berlin International Fair," - said Medea Janiashvili. 

According to the Director of the ITB Berlin Fair, Georgia has a lot of secrets in the field of tourism, which are still to be discovered internationally.
