The Kazakh-Georgian Economic Union will host the Trade-Economic Mission of Kazakhstan to Georgia. The Georgian-Kazakh business forum will be held on April 6-8 within the framework of the Trade-Economic Mission of Kazakhstan to Georgia.
Representatives of QazTrade and up to 20 companies will visit the Center for trade policy development of Kazakhstan on a Georgian mission. The members of the delegation will hold B2B meetings with the Georgian business sector officials for three days.
The official part of the event will be held on April 7, at 11:00 am, at the Wyndham Grand Tbilisi Hotel, and will be opened by QazTrade CEO, Azamat Askaruly. The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Georgia, Baurzhan Mukhamejanov, and the Chairman of the Board of the Kazakh-Georgian Economic Union, Giorgi Jakhutashvili, will deliver speeches at the meeting.
Within the framework of the event, official memoranda and export agreements will be signed between the Georgian and Kazakh companies. At the end, a B2B session will be held, which the Georgian companies interested in the Kazakh products will participate in.
The Georgian-Kazakh Business Forum aims to deepen economic and trade relations between Kazakhstan and Georgia by establishing new partnerships. The Trade-Economic Mission of Kazakhstan to Georgia is organized by the Kazakh Center for trade policy development, QazTrade, and is supported by the Kazakh-Georgian Economic Union.
The Kazakh-Georgian Economic Union was established in March 2021 by a joint initiative of the Kazakh-Georgian business. The founders of the Union are the business companies and corporations operating on the Georgian market with Kazakh investment, which is as follows: Silk Road Group, Halyk Bank, Capitol Investment Group, Rompetrol, Batumi Oil Terminal, the air company Air Astana, and GK Logistic. The Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Georgia, Air Astana and Rompetrol Georgia also joined the initiative. Under the decision of the members of the Board of the Union, its Chairman is the Executive Director of the Capitol Group and Honorary Consul of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Georgia, Giorgi Jakhutashvili, and General Director is Natalia Fedoseeva.
The main goal of the organization is to deepen economic cooperation between Kazakhstan and Georgia and to promote the development of socio-cultural relations. The Union acts as a kind of communicator between the representatives of the business sector of the two countries and mediates them with public structures.
