Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze emphasized Georgia’s strategic role as a bridge between East and West, reaffirming the country’s commitment to strengthening economic partnerships with China, Europe, and the United States.
Speaking to Imedi TV, Kobakhidze said Georgia would pursue all avenues to enhance its position as a regional connectivity hub. “We connect West and East, Europe and Asia. Our role is already significant, but our goal is to elevate it further,” he noted.
To that end, the Prime Minister underscored the need for major investments in key infrastructure sectors. “This requires substantial investment in roads, railways, ports, and airports,” he said, adding that the government would continue taking serious steps to unlock Georgia’s full economic potential.
