With the support of the Enterprise Georgia Agency, the USAID Agriculture Program and through the promotion of the Georgian Embassy in the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, Georgia took part in Fresh Produce Consortium Awards - the international food and beverage event, which was held in London.
Georgia was represented at the Fresh Produce Consortium Awards with the local products having high export potential, namely: nut crops, tea, spices, dry fruits, etc.
The purpose of participating in the mentioned event was to promote the Georgian agricultural products in the UK market and to establish business relations with foreign potential partners or customers.
The event was attended by the representatives of such large shopping networks as Asda, Tesco, Waitrose, Ocado, Morrisons.
