
The final version of Georgia’s 2026 budget draft has been submitted to Parliament, outlining total consolidated budget expenditures of 36.3 billion GEL, the Ministry of Finance announced.
According to the ministry, real economic growth is projected at 5.0% for 2026, with medium-term growth forecast at 5.3%. The nominal GDP is expected to reach 114.1 billion GEL, while per capita GDP will exceed USD 11,300.
Compared to the previous draft, the nominal GDP forecast has been increased by 3.6 billion GEL. Tax revenues for the consolidated budget are set at 27.04 billion GEL, accounting for 23.7% of GDP—an increase of 240 million GEL from the earlier version.
The projected budget deficit stands at 2.5% of GDP, and government debt is expected to remain at 33.4% of GDP, the ministry noted.
