The discussions on the agreement on economic cooperation between Georgia and South Korea concluded with a final session held in Tbilisi, the capital of Georgia.

A wide range of industries were covered by the agreement, including commerce, customs processes, investment, energy, transport, and tourism.

“Establishing a free trade regime with Korea, a high-purchasing consumer market with a population of over 50 million, is a priority for Georgia,” stated Genadi Arveladze, the Deputy Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia.

Following completion, the agreement document will be signed and put into force, according to the Ministry’s press office.
