In an interview with GPB First Channel, Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze confirmed that a candidate for the position of Ambassador to the United States has been chosen. He expressed hope that the selection process would be finalized soon.

The Prime Minister stated that further details would be shared with the public at the appropriate time. "We will inform the society once we have taken additional steps in this regard. We are ready to communicate and await reciprocal actions," he added.
