As the National Tourism Administration of Georgia said, the leading European media outlets will feature the country’s winter resorts and adventure tourism.

The Administration said it was hosting a press tour for Le Figaro, The Telegraph, GQ, Die Presse, Snow, Backcountry Magazine and Downdays.

The body said journalists from Austria, France and the United Kingdom had visited the Georgian capital city of Tbilisi, the western city of Kutaisi, the Prometheus Cave visitor destination near the latter and the north-western highland town of Mestia as part of the tour.

Die Presse reporter Joseph Ibner shared his experience of following a group of freeriders and getting some amazing impressions.

Photographer Dom Daher said the tour marked his second visit to Georgia. He said he had been taking photos of the 2024 Freeride World Tour competition in Mestia and the mountains of the locality, and found the cultural aspect of the trip very interesting.
