
In January-July 2023, the share of Georgia's top ten trading partners in the total export of the country amounted to 80.8 percent. The top three exporters were formed as follows: Armenia (495.0 million US dollars), Azerbaijan (485.3 million US dollars) and Russia (416.2 million US dollars).
According to the preliminary data published by the National Statistics Office of Georgia (GEOSTAT), in January-July 2023, the share of Georgia's top ten trading partners in the total import of the country amounted to 70.7%. The top three importers include: Turkey (1,420.6 million US dollars), Russia (1,087.5 million US dollars) and the USA (975.3 million US dollars).
In January-July 2023, the share of Georgia's top ten trading partners in the total foreign trade turnover of the country amounted to 68.7 percent. The largest trade partners of Georgia are: Turkey (1,687.8 million US dollars), Russia (1,503.7 million US dollars) and the USA (1,023.1 million US dollars).
In January-July 2023, foreign trade turnover of goods in Georgia (without undeclared trade) amounted to 12,105.5 million USD, which is 18.0 percent more compared to the corresponding period of the previous year. Out of this, the export value amounted to 3 583.4 mln US dollars (increased by 15.9 percent), while the import value amounted to 8 522.1 million USD (increased by 19.0 percent). The trade deficit of Georgia in January-July 2023 was 4,938.7 million USD amounting to 40.8 percent of foreign trade turnover.
