
According to the Union of Importers of Petroleum Products of Georgia, in January-October 2023, the import of lubricants amounted to 19.50 thousand tons, which is 1.47 thousand tons or 8.2% more than the indicator recorded in the same period of the previous year (18.03 thousand tons).
During 10 months of the current year, the largest volume of lubricants was imported from Turkey - 4.18 thousand tons, which is 21.4% of all imports. Turkey is followed by: Iran – with 3.49 thousand tons (17.9%); Germany – with 2.41 thousand tons (12.4%), Azerbaijan – with 1.39 tons (7.1%); and others
During the months of January-October 2023, the import of aviation oil amounted to 106.8 thousand tons, which is 1.4 thousand tons or 1.3% more compared to the indicator of the same period of 2022 (105.4 thousand tons).
Among them, during 10 months of the current year, 46.7% (49.9 thousand tons) of aviation oil import was carried out from Turkmenistan, 21.6% (23.1 thousand tons) - from Azerbaijan; 12.1% (12.9 thousand tons) - from Greece, 9.6% (10.3 thousand tons) - from Turkey, 7.5% (8.0 thousand tons) - from Malta, 1.9% (2.0 thousand tons) - from Libya, 0.6% (0.6 thousand tons) - from Switzerland.
