The main topic of the discussions of the forum was the expectations of banking services, challenges in the banking sector, opportunities and digital technologies. 

Irakli Kovzanadze spoke about the reality that exists in the banking sector today, but stressed that the financial sector is sustainable and adequately responds to challenges.

"The banking sector is well capitalized, assets exceed GDP (almost $ 62 billion), the system has sufficient capital buffers and high liquidity. A number of initiatives are planned to be considered in the Parliament, which will contribute to further increasing the stability and sustainability of the banking and financial sector," - Irakli Kovzanadze stated.
