
According to the data published by the National Statistics Office of Georgia (GEOSTAT), during August, goods worth $492 million were exported from Georgia to foreign countries, which is 19 million dollars or 4% more compared to the previous year.
According to the preliminary report of foreign trade turnover, during the eight months of 2023, the volume of Georgia's exports amounted to $4 billion, which is a 14.3%-increase compared to the previous year.
In August, the volume of Georgia's imports amounted to $1.27 billion, which is a 1%-increase annually, and the volume of January-August imports amounted to $9.9 billion, which is a 18%-increase compared to the previous year.
