A few days before the start of the Berlin tourism exhibition, Deborah Rothe, Director of the ITB Berlin Exhibition, got acquainted with the final preparatory works of the Georgian stand together with Mariam Kvrivishvili, Deputy Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia, and Maia Omiadze, Head of the National Tourism Administration of Georgia.
At the Georgian stand, the Director of the exhibition spoke about the importance of Georgia's status as a host country at ITB 2023.
According to the ITB Berlin Exhibition Director Deborah Rothe, the partnership with the host country covers a wide range of cooperation. She said Georgia's stand at the exhibition would occupy 700 sq.m. and this special and wonderful stand would reflect the diverse culture and unique history of the country.
The main concept of the Georgian stand at the exhibition is "infinite hospitality".ITB Berlin has been held since 1966. In 2019, before the global pandemic, ITB Berlin hosted more than 160,000 visitors from 181 countries in 2019, while 5,000 reporters covered the exhibition.
