"Ilia Darchiashvili, the former Head of the Government Administration, has been appointed the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia," - Prime Minister Irakli Gharibashvili announced on Monday.
Ilia Darchiashvili replaced David Zalkaliani, who has been appointed Georgia’s Ambassador to the United States. He has been the Minister of Foreign Affairs since June 21, 2018, and the Deputy Prime Minister of Georgia since January 21, 2021.
