More specifically, in the same period of 2021 (January-March), Georgia purchased second-hand clothes (1,716 tons) worth 3.907 million USD, in 3 months of 2020 - 4,825 million USD (1,655 tons), in 2019 (January-March) - 5,034 million USD (1,450 tons), in 3 months of 2018 - 5,249 million USD (1,679 tons), in the same period of 2017 - 4,720 million USD (1,663 tons), in January-March 2016 - 3,515 million USD (1,040 tons), and in the first 3 months of 2015 - 4,821 million USD (1,364 tons).
The list of the top 5 countries from where Georgia imported second-hand clothes in January-March 2022 is as follows:
- Turkey - 798.9 tons ($ 2.161 million);
- Pakistan - 425.3 tons ($ 474.9 thousand);
- United Kingdom - 242.6 tons ($ 558.8 thousand);
- Belgium - 140.3 tons ($ 324.1 thousand);
- The Netherlands - 109.9 tons ($ 352 thousand).
