Georgia reports 817 new cases of coronavirus, 3 deaths

According to stopcov.ge, as part of the intensive testing, 23,553 tests were conducted across the country within the last 24 hours, including 21,030 antigen tests and 2,523 PCR tests.

As a result of the testing, 817 new cases of the virus were detected within the last 24 hours. The total number of confirmed cases detected since the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic in the country amounts to 1,644,112.

As of March 22, the daily positive rate is 3.47%, for the last 14 days - 6.64% and for 7 days - 4.45%.

Within the last 24 hours, 3,017 people recovered from the virus, bringing the total to 1,604,595. 3 deaths from coronavirus were reported in the last 24 hours. A total of 16,681 people have died from the virus since the pandemic spread.

The number of active cases amounts to 22,810.
