Georgia reports 8,455 new cases of coronavirus, 41 deaths

According to information published on Stopcov.ge, within intensive testing, 36,918 tests were conducted across the country in the last 24 hours, including 22,936 antigen tests and 13,982 PCR tests.
As a result of the testing, 8,455 newly confirmed cases of the virus were detected in the last 24 hours. The total number of confirmed cases since the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic in the country is 1,584,454.
18,206 people have recovered from the virus, while the total number of people recovered increased by 1,447,969.
41 new cases of coronavirus death have been reported. A total of 16,022 people have died from the virus since the start of the pandemic.
