Georgia reports 25,161 new cases of coronavirus, 51 deaths

According to stopcov.ge, as part of the intensive testing, 72,587 tests were conducted across the country in the last 24 hours, including 47,032 antigen tests and 25,555 PCR tests.

As a result of the testing, 25,161 new cases of the virus were detected in the last 24 hours. The total number of confirmed cases since the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic in the country is 1,375,615.

As of February 8, the daily positive rate is 34.66%, for the last 14 days - 29.26% and for 7 days - 32.45%.

In the last 24 hours, 16,789 people recovered from the virus, bringing the total to 1,141,231. 51 coronavirus deaths were reported in the last 24 hours. A total of 15,351 people have died from the virus since the pandemic spread.

The number of active cases amounts to 219,007.
