Georgia reports 23,664 new cases of coronavirus, 42 deaths

Based on stopcov.ge, as part of the intensive testing, 77,584 tests were conducted across the country in the last 24 hours, including 47,972 antigen tests and 29,612 PCR tests.

As a result of the testing, 23,664 new cases of the virus were detected in the last 24 hours. The total number of confirmed cases since the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic in the country amounts to 1,250,108.

As of February 2, the daily positive is 30.05%, 24.27% for the last 14 days and 27.36% for the last 7 days.

Within the last 24 hours, 8,326 people recovered from the virus, bringing the total to 1,038,391.

Within the last 24 hours, 42 coronavirus deaths were reported. A total of 15,102 people have died from the virus since the pandemic spread. The number of active cases amounts to 196,589.
