According to the National Tourism Administration, Georgia welcomed 5,091,732 international tourists in 2024, marking a 9% increase compared to 2023. Compared to 2019, tourist visits rose by 0.2%.
In 2023, the country recorded 7,368,149 international travelers, reflecting a 4.2% increase from the previous year, and a 78.7% recovery in comparison to 2019.
Tourist visits saw a significant boost in the fourth quarter of 2024. Between October and December of that year, Georgia received 1,098,890 international tourists, an 8.4% increase from 2023, and a 0.8% increase compared to 2019.
In the same quarter, international traveler visits in 2024 reached 1,573,488, marking a 4.5% increase from 2023, with a recovery rate of 74.2% compared to 2019.
