
During the first ten months of 2023, Georgia received an income of $217.303 million from the sale of wine.
According to official statistics, natural grape wines ranked 3rd in the ten largest export goods with a share of 4.3%.
The rate of wine exports from the country increased by 8.2% annually. However, it should be noted that the volume of the exported wine was higher in 10 months of 2022. 75,726 tons of wine were exported this year, which is 4% less than last year.
The main sales market for Georgian wine has been Russia for years. In January-October 2023, Russia has a 66% share in total exports.

Russia - $144 million, 53,547 tons;
Poland - $11.7 million, 4,652 tons;
Ukraine - $11.6 million, 4 158 tons;
China - $9.4 million, 2,632 tons;
Kazakhstan - $8.1 million, 2 599 tons;
Belarus - $6.2 million, 2 177 tons;
The USA - $4.2 million, 680 tons;
Germany - $3.2 million, 876 tons;
Latvia - $3.2 million, 948 tons;
Lithuania - $1.8 million, 547 tons.
