„Georgia ranked top among emerging markets and countries in terms of public finance management system,“ - Sebastian Molineus, World Bank’s Regional Director for South Caucasus, on Wednesday, said calling it “undoubtedly a very impressive achievement.”
“This is supported by other international studies, such as the Open Financial Index, which places Georgia top in budget transparency,” he added.
According to the 2022 Public Expenditure and Financial Accountability (PEFA) Global Report, Georgia ranks first among 59 nations in the globe with continual progress of public finance management.”
